This month saw so much change. Conquered fears, developmental milestones, and steps towards independence. But you can’t have growth without some growing pains so we also threw in a nice mix of pushed boundaries, constant reminders, and a few moments of pure chaos. And I think it’s natural for my heart to burst with pride and excitement for them while also sinking into my stomach with fear. I work each day to help my boys become strong, healthy little people, ready to conquer the world. And then completely panic that life is moving too fast and I can’t hold them tight forever. I’m coming to see that this might be a lifelong pattern as a mama. So for now I will sit tight and enjoy the ride. Encourage and nudge them forward while stealing kisses and snuggles along the way.
